Genny Fall/Winter 2019-2020 A Feminine Snow Queen in a Winter Wonderland

During MFW, I had the honor to see the Magic Genny Fall-Winter Collection 2019-2020.

First of all I have to say that Genny is one of my favourite italian fashion brand because it is sustainable, fashionable and contemporary.

For the Fall-Winter 2019-2020 this incredible Fashion House shows elegant collections that combine classic elements and modern textures, in a fairy landscape.

Before starting to talk about Genny F-W 2019-2010 Fashion Show, let’s read something about their story

Did you know that Genny brand was first launched in 1962 by Arnaldo and Donatella Girombelli?

The Collection soon gained acclaim and popularity among women, also on account of the stylistic contribution of famous designers such as Gianni Versace, who became the Creative Director at Genny in 1973.

What I really appreciate is that Genny focus on aesthetics that feature flowing lines and a more feminine mood, achieved through painstaking attention to features and details.

For this Collection materials are particulary warm and shapes are cocooning.

The cozy coats are crafted from hyper soft double – faced cashmere and the maxi silk velvet bomber jackets are worn to exalt the feminine timeless beauty.

Observing the Fashion Show I am very impressed because Genny is able to combine classic elements and modern textures.

Echoing melting ice, the brand’s signature seductive femininity translates into fluid and lightweight flared dresses, refined with Swarovski crystals.

What is incredible is that every single outfit comes with the guarantee of Made in Italy.

I think that Sara Cavazza Facchini, Artistic Director of the Maison since 2013, was simply incredible.

She is always able to skilfully blended its heritage with a sense of timeless elegance, a genuine air of femininity and a contemporary mood achieved through the details.

I really appreciate her conscientious sustainability, and the fact that she is also embracing social responsibility for its employees and safeguarding the low impact of its products on the environment (responsible luxury).

Expecially for this Winter Wonderland Fashion Show, Ms Cavazza Facchini was visionary and I was particularly impressed by the veils in the heads of these maginificent models. This veils make the woman even more fascinating.

Even though the red shoes combined with the white clothes, were not my favorite because I preferred shoes with neutral and clear colors, I really felt in love with the soft kidassia fur.

I can say that Genny Fashion Show was an explosion of great creativity, fine fabrics and modern style.

I also had the honor to meet my favorite American actress, Alexandra Daddario, who is known for playing Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series, Blake Gaines in San Andreas, Summer Quinn in Baywatch and Avery Martin in When We First Met.

My most sincere Congratulations to Sara Cavazza Facchini and to the team of Genny Fashion House for this fantastic Fall-Winter 2019-2020 Collection.
