Dolce & Gabbana Show In the wonderful historical palaces of Florence…!
“La Bella Vita” is the title of the new Dolce & Gabbana 2020 collections inspired by the Italian jet set holidays of the 1950s and 1960s, when international personalities and stars such as Jackie Kennedy, Aristotle Onassis, Brigitte Bardot, Sofia Loren and Gianni Agnelli frequented the most beautiful and exclusive places in Italy, also named “ Bel Paese” that means “The Great State”.
Admiring Dolce & Gabbana 2020 collections you will discover embroideries, prints and details inspired by the flowers of Portofino gardens, the frescoes of Renaissance villas overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the citrus fruits of Capri, as well as the lively decorations of the Sicilian carts, so important for the two designers.
What did I like the most? The scarves as a covering for large straw hats or knotted on the head like a turban.
What really struck me is that kaftans and kimonos with animal prints and exotic material details represent the most eccentric part of the sixties.
Moreover, embroidered sandals, slippers and clutch bags complete the look while the new High Jewelery creations ennoble the collection with precious stones and unique designs of great personality.
High Jewelery and Haute Horlogerie ennoble the Haute Couture collection with precious stones and goldsmith craftsmanship. Among the novelties for men a series of yellow and white gold cocktail rings with diamonds, tourmalines and spinels to be worn on all fingers.
In Florence, the “fever” broke out for Dolce and Gabbana. Many in the city are thrilled by the news of the two fashion haute couture and women’s high fashion shows that the two famous designers will hold on 2 and 3 September under the prestigious signs of Pitti Uomo 98. The locations will almost certainly be Palazzo Vecchio with the Salone dei Cinquecento and Villa Bardini with its enchanted garden overlooking the roofs, monuments and the Arno. Prestigious hypotheses that open the heart to the dreams of many and then many who aspire to be present at an event that promises to be of great emotion and creative value.
