Dolce & Gabbana:

Dubai Mall Fashion Show from Arabic World to Sicily is a Triumph of Flowers, Embroidery and Made in Italy

Dolce & Gabbana celebrates their boutique opening in the Fashion Avenue Expansion of Dubai Mall, with a special fashion show inside the department store.

For the occasion, on Sunday 7th October,  the maxi luxury mall was decorated as a wonderful location, with colored lights and golden details, which transported all the guests to the magical atmosphere of typical Italian cities.

The unique Dolce and Stefano Gabbana brought a collection characterized by contrasts on the catwalk, where the nights of the East meet the warmth of Sicily: long evening dresses embellished with applications of feathers, amethysts, emeralds, aquamarines, gold and silver crystals, gold embroidery and arabesque ornamental motifs.

I was so happy to take part of this incredible Fashion Show.

The store is spread over three floors according to the project of architect Marco Costanzi of the MCA studio, who interpreted the soul of Dolce & Gabbana in a unique way, with the dreamy atmospheres and warm colours of the Middle East.

All the 128 outfits in pure Dolce & Gabbana style, on the notes of Rossini, Bellini and Puccini’s lyric classics and the Ember trio: my favourite were the evening dresses sparkling with feathers and stones.

I can certainly say that the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Dubai is a triumph of flowers, embroidery and Made in Italy that reminds me of the story of the Arabic world mixed with the exotic Sicilian culture.
