“ Red Carpet becomes Green”

Gemma Arterton and Bianca Balti wear Chopard Green Carpet Collection during the Venice Film Festival opening ceremony. The British actress Gemma Arterton was gorgeous with her Green Carpet Collection earrings made of Fairmined 18ct white gold, with two pear cut emeralds (31.8cts), round diamonds (4.5cts) and marquise cut diamonds (10.3cts).
Furthermore, the Italian Model Bianca Balti wore a Green Carpet Collection sparkling necklace in white gold Fairmined 18ct with one wonderful pear cut emerald (22cts), some pear cut diamonds (60cts) and several diamonds (11.4cts).
Chopard has adopted a policy of sustainable business development and does its upmost in limiting its impact on the planet’s limited resources. Several recycling systems have been put in place at the headquarters as well as in its production sites and distribution offices worldwide.
As a matter of fact, the responsible emeralds mineral processing is done in Gemfields Kagem mine of Zambia. All diamonds come from a producer, who is a certified member of RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council). Furthermore, gold comes from “Fairmined” certified artisanal mines in South America.
From 2013, Chopard has launched an ambitious project: “The Journey to Sustainable Luxury”, in order to create a jewelry and watches sustainable industry, to combines ethics and aesthetics. The partnership with the mining company Gemfields is part of this project.
Even the magnificent Chiara Mastroianni and the wonderful Anita Caprioli wear Chopard at the opening ceremony of Venice Film Festival. Moreover, the Franco-Italian actress Chiara Mastroianni was wearing Red Carpet Collection earrings in platinum with oval diamonds (1.8ct), pear shaped diamonds (2ct) and diamonds (2.8ct). She also wore a 18ct white gold ring from High Jewellery Collection with a breathtaking oval diamond (10.3ct) and diamonds (3.75ct).
The Italian actress Anita Caprioli was wearing 18K white gold earrings from Chopard High Jewellery Collection, with pear shape sapphires (70ct), sapphires and diamonds.
She completed her look with a unique ring belonging to the High Jewellery Collection with a heart shape diamond (5ct) and diamonds.
Chopard has always taken its commitments very seriously and regards supporting noble causes as a natural duty.
